About Living Waters Ministry
Living Waters Ministry was founded in 1998 in Statesville, North Carolina as a retreat ministry to provide a quiet place for those who are weary and need a place for rest, refreshing and healing from the Lord. As they experienced healing in their own family, Pastors Lee and Denise Boggs felt the Lord impressing on their hearts that there was a great need for a "safe place" where families could go for personal ministry, and reconciliation.

The vision Lee and Denise have for Living Waters is to see hearts healed and families restored. Malachi 4:1-6 has the key to family restoration. This is a time when God is turning the hearts of fathers to their children and the hearts of children to their fathers, so we are living in a strategic time when the Lord is purifying hearts and preparing the church for His return.
Living Waters ministers to individuals under the leadership of the Holy Spirit. We rely upon the counsel of the Word of God and the leading of the Spirit of God, while ministering through personal ministry sessions and Living Waters Retreats.
As the Lord gave increase, there was a growing need for trained Prayer Counselors who had a burden for the broken hearted, who know they have a call of God to minister to hurting people.
In 2000, the Living Waters Ministry School was formed to train Prayer Counselors who would help with Retreats, and personal ministry sessions. Through the Living Waters Ministry School, individuals are equipped with a deep understanding of root issues behind addictions, performance orientation, depression and other targeted problem areas. The teachings in the school are in-depth studies of the Word of God related to healing, spiritual transformation, and personal growth.
About the Founders…

As they experienced healing in their own family, the Lord impressed on their heart that there was a great need for a "safe place" where families could go for personal ministry.
Lee and Denise have been married for 30 years and have 3 wonderful children, Crystal-27 (married to Jon), Casey-23 and William-19, and a new grandson, Conlan. They have been reaching out to others through pastoral ministry for over 20 years, and have a powerful testimony of healing in their marriage and family through the healing power of Jesus Christ. Their passion is to see others experience this same healing power through a personal relationship with Christ.

Lee graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic College with a degree in Biblical Studies and Counseling. He also received training at The Net Training Institute in addiction studies and from Elijah House International. He was ordained as a Pastor in 1986 and has remained active in Pastoral Ministry - and regularly travels to Central America to share the message of Jesus Christ in remote villages.
Denise received her training through Net Training Institute and Elijah House International. She has authored several books, and travels frequently throughout the Southeast as a teacher and speaker.
Denise says that most of her training has come through life experiences, and from intense study of the Word of God. Her unique teaching style with fresh insights and practical applications could only come through the power of the Holy Spirit. She has written several workbooks and booklets such as Healing and Restoring the Heart Small Group Curriculum, Prayers that Cleanse the Heart and Healing at the Root. She is also the author of the Living Waters Ministry School Curriculum.
