The Path Called Righteousness

The Lord Jesus is the Shepherd and He leads you daily down a path called righteousness, all you do is follow. (Ps 23) If you are seeking direction in your life and desiring to know the right way to go, then trust in the Lord, ask Him to lead you. He has promised you that if you trust Him, He will never lead you astray. If you need healing, He will heal and restore your soul as you walk with Him daily.

The Path Called Righteousness is a daily devotional from Living Waters Ministry and is based on Scripture. The Lord leads you daily, and as you spend time with Him, He will direct your every step. In every situation in your life there will be a path, a right way to go, step by step, all the way through to the end. This will be a path that you can clearly see. You will know you are going the right way by His peace.

The directions of how to follow this path will be found in His word. The Holy Spirit will light the path so it will be easy to follow. When you can’t see the next step, you just stop and wait. As you are waiting for the next step just sit down and rest a while. As you rest, your soul is restored and your strength is renewed. The Holy Spirit will reveal the next step; you just continue daily to be renewed in His word. As you read the word, joy will come upon you to strengthen you and lift up your spirit. When this happens you will have a super-natural strength that only comes from the Lord. This joy will strengthen you to rise up and move forward again, down the Path Called Righteousness.

All along this path you will find hidden streams of refreshing. We never know where these streams are hidden, they are God’s secrets, and you may find them when you are down in a valley or in a dry desert. Deuteronomy 29:29 tells us who these secret things are for, “The secret things belong to our God, but those things that are revealed belong to us and to our children for ever…” He says these hidden things or (hidden realities) belong to us and our children. So on your journey of life, look carefully into every situation you felt was a desert wasteland, and you will find a stream of refreshing living water coming out of that desert. (Isaiah 35:6)

I pray you will receive healing and refreshment in this devotional based on the Psalms.

In Grace, under Mercy and at Peace with God,
